Like every other Fashion week, the NYFW began from the streets of NYC, and we couldn’t help but notice some of the stand out New York Fashion Week Street Style Trends displayed by the crowd in Attendance.
Check out some of the New York Fashion Week Street Style Trends
Considering the weather, keeping warm was a priority and thanks to the 90s revival, Bomber Jackets were the go to warm wear on the streets of New York.
Top Handle bags in different shapes and sizes were also a favourite New York Fashion Week Street Style trend at this year’s show, giving us some major accessory crushes.
Brightly coloured yellow was a favourite Street Style palette during the NYFW. There are 2 things about yellow; first, it’s not the easiest colour to pull off, and secondly, you will easily standout when you wear yellow. So this trend at the NYFW says a few things about New Yorkers. They are bold and they definitely don’t like to go unnoticed.
Are you thinking of what you could add to your outfit to make it scream 2018 as loud as possible? Tiny sunglasses are the go accessory to hit a bulls eye on that front and it was apparent the New York Fashion Week Street Style trend setters got the memo.
Transparent Plastic Rain Gear
Designer’s effort to put plastic into good use in their S18 collections came in handy at the New York Fashion week. With the down pour of rain on day 4 of the show, guests pulled out some of the most stylish rain gears ever. These gears came in form of transparent boots, hats rain coats and umbrellas. The down pour definitely wasn’t going to kill their vibe.
